I think it's a normal way to get the money back. Owning money is not intended maybe. But the debtors have to deal with it by all means. answer

"One debtor of Peiker told Äripäev that Peiker was somewhat insane since delays in paying debts or leaving debts unpaid has become very common in Estonia."

I would contend that the insanity is believing that by ignoring a debt it will somehow go away. Whether or not unlawful or thoroughly unethical behaviour has become commonplace or even the norm in Estonian business culture, this does not give debtors the right to criticise those they owe money to purely based on the level of effort that the creditor expends in recovering what is rightfully his. answer

If this is the case I would advise to deliver ONLY on 100% advance payment to Estonia.

Now I understand why you need services like "netikuller" in Estonia to make an order from the US, for example. answer

Oh yeah, so because leaving debts unpaid is commonplace means that normality is ok? Full marks Peiker, you got some action when 'normal' business practice and courtesy in Estonia didn't work. A long time ago I lost a significant sum to a guy who subsequently said in the bankruptcy hearing that he'd first paid those who shouted loudest; since then I've never been shy about demanding due payment, never lost again either, well not hardly. Debtors need creditors more than t'other way round usually! Good for you dude. answer
