Even if half of this is true, I would like to know the name of the mastermind behind this conspiracy. The author is risking with having an angry mob protest on the streets and stone the facade of the Swedish Embassy in Tallinn. answer

Stefan Andersson is a well-known idiot savant (minus the savant) of the Estonian business blogging world. The single reason why the Estonian economy, like the rest of the world, is showing superficial improvement is because we are now awash in money printing and stimulus money the likes of which we have never seen.

Estonia goes where the tides take it. answer

Stefan Andersson has right or not. But the article shows how we are depended on the swedish banks (at least if thinking about bank operations). This should make us working to change the situation. I think we will be closer to Central-Europe in the end of this year. And hope the dependence from Sweden is more or less history. answer

In general this author writes very subjective / manupulative articles:

16.03.2008:
"Since an ever increasing part of the Estonian GDP has become related to the construction and property sectors, the slowdown will inevitably hit large parts of the economy. Prices and wages will cool but productivity and general efficiency in the economy will rise. And as the property sector slows, this will ultimately give way for growth in other sectors of the very flexible Estonian economy."

31.08.2008 (ÄP Index at that time ~1300 -> today ~880):
"There is no bell ringing when a stock index passes its bottom. [...] So the unknowns are numerous - but when looking some years ahead, I think Estonia has everything to make it a superb investment site. Buying when the stock-market has fallen by 50% is seldom wrong."

Beside many requests to exclude the blog of this author from BBN in the past his reputation is "not existing". answer

Of course Estonia goes were the tide takes it (Count). But that's why it should be advocated to invade Sweden get all problems solved. They'll never know what hit them.

The man is a clown. His blogs as have appeared in BBN have been universally laughable. BBN, why do you publish this unadulterated rubbish? answer

Dear editor,

What are you thinking? Have you not read the posts from the past where your readers not only disagree with this writer, but openly mock him. It has been a pleasant few months of not having to read his economic incoherent dribble in this blog.

As a protest, I am going to stop clicking on the advertisements. If he appears again, then I will switch to wwww.baltic-course.com for all my Baltic news.

There is only one thing this writer is good for - bad economic logic. I use his as fodder in my economic classes as an example of mid-term essays with the follow: "What are the fundamental logic errors of this argument?"

BBN, please for the love of god, do not reproduce this "small-mind investor" material.

If you want someone to provide you free material, then just ask us! answer

After reading this article, I think Estonia should sue Sweden in the European Court of Human Rights, or better still in the International Criminal Court.
The Swedes should pay reparations to Estonia for causing so much damage and distress in this region ;) answer

When the Swedish banks boosted the Estonian economy that Mr Andersson might have enjoined it financially as his name was on the shareholder's list I had seen...And then now that he blames that the banks as if that he had no gain but only loss...What a shame, don't you think so? answer

'And hope the dependence from Sweden is more or less history'' Then find another system to support you, ie, Western Europe, IMF,etc etc etc etc. And if things go sour, you always have a scapegoat to blame instead of being at least partially responsible for your own decisions and failures. answer
