Lithuanian retail sales rebound In October
29.11.2011, 11:53Lithuania's retail sales increased in October, after falling in the previous month, data released by the Department of Statistics showed Monday.
Retail sales, excluding automobiles, increased a seasonally adjusted 0.6% month-on-month in October, recovering from the 5.2% decline seen in September. In August, sales grew 6.4% from the previous month.
Retail trade of automotive fuel dropped 0.5 percent in October, while sale of food, beverages and tobacco advanced 3.4 percent. There was a 4.3% monthly growth in retail sales of clothing and footwear, and a 1.4% decrease in sales of non-food items.
