ESTONIA, BEWARE. HAVING SUCH A FACILITY NEAR A POPULATED AREA CAN BE A POTENTIAL RISK TO AN EXPLOSION THAT COULD DESTROY ALL OF TALLINN AND ITS ENVIRONS. RESEARCH IF YOU WOULD THE STUDIES THAT HAVE BEEN DONE IN THE U.S. AND OTHER PLACES ABOUT LNG STORAGE FACILITIES. PLANS FOR STORAGE IN THE U.S. HAVE BEEN SCRAPED DUE TO POTENTIAL RISK TO POPULATED AREAS (MOBILE ALABAMA AREA). OFF SHORE STORAGE HAS BEEN CONSIDERED. AN LNG EXPLOSION DID TAKE PLACE I NORTH AFRICAN MEDITERRANEAN PORT CITY. BE CAREFUL ESTONIA!!!!!! Reply to the comment answer

No response? Evidently there is no concern for the possibility of what experts have said can be the near nuclear explosive devastation of an LNG leak. Short term gains can often result in long term regret. Think long and hard before you become the repository for the Baltic region's gas fuel. Many have equated it to the near equivalent of storing spent nuclear fuel rods. There should be State sponsored studies concerning the merits of such a move as an LGN storage facility near a populated area. Maybe an unpopulated island off the Coast, but not near Tallinn or other habitated areas. Not one citizen should lose his or her life over such a thing. Reply to the comment answer

Please read "Australian Apocalypse" at
viewzone2.com/dampier.html and other articles on the potential of an LNG explosion of stored fuel. The risk in the above article indicates it would have the explosive power of 220 Hiroshima bombs!!!!! Don't reinvent the wheel. Look at what already has been done and plan accordingly!!!
