Authorities stunned as illegal alien walks off a cargo vessel, goes to Old Town

So, three cases alltogether, the rest is pure speculation. Noteworthy? Worrisome?

Maybe in xenophobic circles.

In any case, what we are going to do now? Should the border controls now start to check the immigration status on every single suspect, like in Denmark? I thought theses times would be over in a single European market. And who would count as a suspect? Just "African man" or maybe like the TSA checks on supsects of terrorists, so virtually everyone (including "feel-ups" of children and senior citizens, humiliating treatment of travelers, theft of or damage to valuables by gov't agents, and the like)?

Let's get real on this. It is even not clear if the "African man" who failed to produce proper identification is an illegal immigrant. Reply to the comment answer

You really can get into a rant on just about everything. It IS noteworthy because Schenghen countries have a great responsibility to try to prevent such things. And about getting real: the person was a stowaway (which is illegal) and we can infer he is an illegal immigrant from the story because he was taken to the Illuka refugee centre. If he were legal, then he wouldn't be there now, would he? Reply to the comment answer

A refugee is a refugee. An illegal is an illegal. There is a difference between both of them.

An illegal would end up in custody pending deportation and such an ascertainment is quite obviously not yet apparent.

And hey, blame the messenger, not me, to make a big rant on three isolated single cases, where it is even not clear, if the "African man" is an "illegal alien" - and that's the actual rant.

In any case, I wouldn't say that's a real issue, hardly undermining anyone's national security whatsoever.

He would feel right at home in Eesti. High unemployment rate, people starving, poverty and AIDS everywhere. Reply to the comment answer

Given the lack of immigrants and the lack of skilled labor, the actual question should not be if the "african man" is an illegal, but "do they have a clean record and what are they able to do?"
