Still a long ways to go, as long as its going up. (not that it will matter once the euro de-valuates and prices go through the roof)

Of course, I came here for the international experience - only to realize I make the same amount of money as a bag-boy in the grocery store back in the states at 16 without a high school diploma :D

Nonetheless, its worth it, kind of. Reply to the comment answer

Data about the median wage would also be nice, but these are very hard to find. They give a better indication about the wage the average Estonian makes. Reply to the comment answer

Estonia posts highest inflation in EU because of entering Euro zone. Prices in Latvia and Lithuania are 1/3 less then in Estonia. In Latvia you can pay 9% of your salary in taxes which is lowest employee tax rate in EU. Reply to the comment answer

This is not true. Personal income tax is 25%, social contribution is 35.09%, out of which employee pays 11%, 24.09% is paid by employer

You pay 9% if you work for micro company (type of companies). I have one such in Latvia since midle of 2011 and can confirm this info - for my employees I pay 9%.
