Reform Party lied on Tuesday, when it told Delfi that Kristiina Ojuland’s election party in 2007 was not financed by her advisor Andrus Viks’ company Jatrimpan, Äripäev writes.

“I understand from that story that it was beneficial to entrepreneur to have client events and it’s visible from the bills that company paid its part and candidates paid their parts. Therefore no one can make such claims,” Silver Pukk, Reform Party’s spokesperson said.

Viks said that his company held a client event in the same time with Reform Party’s campaign event, which is why he paid half of the bill.

It’s visible from the invoices that Kristiina Ojuland’s spendings were paid by his advisor Viks and Reform Party’s claims that there was Jatrimpan’s client event are untrue.

It was two different events: “Eesti parim sõbrapäeva pidu!” and “Pingviinide ball”, both in Rakvere night club Lokaal.

Invoice for both events was made on February 24, 2007. Both events were advertised in Õhtuleht and the advertisements say no word about Jatrimpan’s client event.

Kristiina Ojuland’s claims that she didn’t organize the events are also untrue. It’s visible from the correspondence that both, Ojuland and Viks, took part in organizing the event.

Yesterday Reform Party’s spokesperson told Äripäev that these weren’t Reform Party’s events.

“Reform Party had nothing to do with these events. Reform Party hasn’t organized them or paid for them,” the spokesperson said.

Äripäev has represented the interests of underground by writing of blackmailing or illegal funding suspicions linked with the Reform Party, Andrus Ansip, member of Reform Party and PM said.

“It’s strange for me to read how Äripäev represents the interests of drug dealers or brothel managers  and reports their views,” Ansip said.
