Estonian travellers reach India after a three-day delay

About a hundred people who were forced to wait in Tallinn for three days for a trip to India arrived in Goa yesterday. Estonian travel agency Travel IN that organized the trip claims that it had fulfilled all its obligations, writes Delfi.

"We are right now making sure that they arrive here happily, not unhappily. Those who waited for the same plane to return to Tallinn are not very unhappy that their holiday was extended. At least it applies on people whom I have seen and accommodated," said Märt Mäe, CEO of Travel In, from Goa.

Mäe said that the company will arrange a free excursion for the arriving group and any compensation claims would be handled by the company's lawyer. According to Mäe, no-one from the incoming or outgoing group had asked any compensation.

Mäe said that if there will be complaints, they will be made after the trip, not during. "If the rest of the trip goes well and service is good, perhaps there will be fewer claims," he told Delfi.

Travel In has extended the stay of the group by a few days to February 24.
