Lithuania agreed to build a 19- kilometer rail line to improve logistics for the Mazeikiu refining unit of Poland’s PKN Orlen SA, Polish Deputy Treasury Minister Mikolaj Budzanowski said today after talks with the Lithuanian government, reported Bloomberg.

The line will cut transportation costs and help maintain exports to Latvia and Estonia, Jacek Komar, a spokesman for Orlen’s Lithuanian unit, said in Vilnius, without giving precise financial forecasts.
