Lithuanian GDP growth in Q2 slows to 2.7%

Lithuania's economic development in Q2 2012 slowed to a working-day adjusted 2.7%, the lowest rate since Q4 2010, according to a flash estimate from the national statistics department. Non-adjusted rate reached only 2.1%, falling well behind a rather optimistic analyst consensus of 3%, reported news2biz.

The statisticians did not specify performance of the individual economy sectors in Q2 but noted that all sectors posted growth in H1 in annual terms. During this period the economy posted a 3% non-adjusted growth.
