DNB receives a banking licence in Estonia
02.08.2012, 12:55The Financial Supervisory Authority in Estonia granted a credit establishment operating permit to the
Leasing company DNB Liising has been issued a permit by the Financial Supervisory Authority allowing it to offer both leasing and banking operations in Estonia.
The company will be renamed DNB Pank (DNB Bank) after restructuring.
The Estonian branch of Bank DNB A/S will be liquidated after handing over the enterprise to DNB Bank.
The operating licence means that the bank will be entitled to hold savings deposits and other returnable financial assets of the members of the public and clients’ savings deposits will be subject to the Estonian deposits guarantee scheme.
