Worldfamous coffee chain looks towards Estonia
23.08.2012, 10:01Starbucks, one of the world’s most famous coffee chains, may be expanding to Estonia and has already been studying the Estonian market.
Although the company’s press spokesperson Nicholas van Hilten said that the company is not announcing expansion at this point, he added that Starbucks was very excited about the possibilities of the Estonian market.
It is known that Starbucks commissioned a comprehensive market research on Estonia, Latvia and Lithuanian already in 2008.
The rumours were fuelled this week after a fan page called Starbucks Estonia was opened in Facebook announcing the company’s expansion into Estonia. Representatives of Stuudio Algus that has registered the Starbucks.ee website did not wish to comment, saying that contracts with Starbucks were confidential.
