Enterprise Estonia may reclaim funding for Kultuurikatel

Estonian state-owned business support agency Enterprise Estonia suspects that Tallinn Creative Hub Kultuurikatel may have forged documentation in applying for renovation funding and has not entered into contracts which have stopped works with the project, writes Eesti Päevaleht.

The agency has now said that the City of Tallinn must come up with EUR 6m by the end of this month or it will reclaim funds paid out to Kultuurkatel.

Evelyn Sepp, of Kultuurikatel Foundation who left  Centre Party in April has denied any wrongdoing.

The first stage of Kultuurikatel was opened in April, but the future of the rest of the complex is uncertain.

Arhitektuurikatel or Architecture Hub, the first stage, is located in the A-block of the complex at Põhja puiestee 29a and the hub aims to introduce the work of architects to a wider audience.
